Starting to wrap up...

I am down to 1 week left in Japan.  Thought I'd start sharing pictures from my more everyday life rather than just stories about the big trips.  So... I am going to do a series of short posts about what I have been up to lately.

This is me enjoying a big bowl Fukuoka Ramen.   It is basically a lot of noodles in a pork bone broth (yes, I said pork bone) with green onions and red pepper.  This particular restaurant especially good because I can ask them to make my soup slightly less pork-bone tasting.  I did not love ramen when I first tried it, but now it has grown on me, and I'm sure I'll miss it when I'm home.

Thanks for reading about the more mundane aspects of my time in Japan.  More to come soon!

So how do you say "less pork-bone tasting" in Japanese?
