This is me enjoying a big bowl Fukuoka Ramen. It is basically a lot of noodles in a pork bone broth (yes, I said pork bone) with green onions and red pepper. This particular restaurant especially good because I can ask them to make my soup slightly less pork-bone tasting. I did not love ramen when I first tried it, but now it has grown on me, and I'm sure I'll miss it when I'm home.
Thanks for reading about the more mundane aspects of my time in Japan. More to come soon!

So how do you say "less pork-bone tasting" in Japanese?
