Tokyo and Yokosuka

Sorry about the awkward formatting of yesterday's posting.  I am still trying to figure out how to do this.

We had another great day yesterday.  It turns out that there was a big Buddhist temple in the neighborhood of our hotel in Tokyo.  Wandering around the grounds we assumed it was some sort of holiday or feast day because it was so crowded, but we when inquired at our hotel they simply said it is always that busy, it is just a popular place.  We took a shor
t video clip of a ceremony that was taking place during out visit.  I may post that sometime in the future because though the visual  isn't great, the sound of the drums and chanting is pretty cool.

Our other adventure yesterday was setting out for Yokosuka, the city where Sean lived when he was younger.  Despite getting poured on, it was nice to see the place I have heard so much about, especially "the Daiei", the shopping mall that captured so much of Sean's (now a decade old) memory from his junior high school days.

Today we are headed to Kamakura to see the Daibutsu, the Great Buddha.  Thanks for checking in!
